Earth Day: Protecting Local Amphibians
April 22, 2022

At FHI Studio, we are dedicated to analyzing and minimizing the environmental impacts of our projects and making sure they meet all environmental regulations. In honor of Earth Day, we want to recognize our skilled and knowledgeable environmental team for their dedication to advancing projects while enhancing the social, cultural, and natural environment.

Pictured above is our team carefully conducting assessments of vernal pools, which are wetlands that provide breeding habitats for certain species of amphibians that are highly valuable to our Earth's complex ecosystem. Our biologists currently conduct field investigations of vernal pools on several project sites and have successfully documented Spotted Salamander and Wood Frog breeding.
