FHI Studio offers internships to students in our Connecticut and New York City offices. Placements range in duration from four weeks to one year. Our collaborative environment and atmosphere will provide a unique experience and exposure to all aspects of planning in our transportation, environmental, community, and public involvement service lines. Our internship program offers a range of development opportunities. FHI Studio is seeking a Graphic Designer/Visual Communicator to support project managers and marketing staff in producing graphics, marketing materials, and visually engaging documents and digital content. This early career position brings potential for growth; both with respect to creative graphics development and leadership.

Design of materials will mostly be based on existing branding/design standards, but the Graphic Designer should also demonstrate the capability of developing a strong visual identity for materials that are not already branded, as well as support creative, visual storytelling. The successful candidate should have mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop). The position will also include writing and review of marketing material for clarity, consistency, and brand messaging.
