FHI Studio is working with Westchester County to plan and execute two Complete Streets workshops in Westchester County communities. We kicked off the project in October 2021 and conducted a walk audit in Bronxville that identified opportunities to create a safe route to school through a combination of safety infrastructure improvements, programming, and encouragement initiatives. The workshop included elected officials, Village officials, school administrators, public safety officers, and community members representing neighborhoods and safe streets advocacy groups. FHI Studio has also developed a report including concept plans, traffic and crash analysis, and implementation guidance. In Spring 2022, the project team will carry out a similar collaborative process in another Westchester County community.
